PTAC Member Spotlight...Len Greenbaum
We asked long time PTAC member Len Greenbaum what makes him “tick”. His answer was surprisingly wonderful. In his words, “Making other people feel inclusive.” Any of you already acquainted with Lennie will not find it hard to believe that his first thoughts are for other people.
Len has lived all over…...he has called the North East, the South East, the Mid West, the South West and the North West home. (Wow!) He is lucky enough to have visited many, many places throughout the years, too, and is quite well-traveled.
A life- time exercise enthusiast, Len loves coming to our club. In fact, he can be seen here just about every day!! (Way to go, Lennie!) He also says that there are key words to live by: Accountability, Empathy and Communication.
Len imparted many of these words of wisdom to his children as they grew up. A very special one that he shared with us is as follows: “There are two criteria by which the world knows you. Number 1 is Credibility. Number 2 is Credit Rating!” Ha! How true!
An eternal and hopeless optimist, Len says we should all live by the “Golden Rule” and that “a handshake is a handshake.” Ending with a quite quotable Lennie-ism, “I believe that life is like a four legged stool. One leg is sleep, one exercise, one diet and one attitude. To keep a balanced view of life one must pay attention to each of the stools legs and when one is off kilter get back on track by focusing on that leg.” Thanks for sharing, Len!
